When it comes to renovating, you have to prepare for anything!
Luckily, Andy was prepared for what he found in the roof and floor of his heritage home. Unluckily, it would set him back in their build.
“Immense water damaged has rotted all the floorboards so they had to come out,” he shared in an October 2024 update.
“Huge laminated timber struts support the ceiling in meantime,” he revealed as you can see in the photo.
“There has been some suggestion that our dog Henri (the tall terrier) may eventually grow taller than a giraffe. As a precaution, we may just leave the ceiling heights at the current 8.5m. Hopefully, that’s enough for her 🐶.”
Fans sure appreciated the update, with one writing: “What will you use the original house for? It’s going to look incredible once it’s restored 😍.”
While another cheekily wrote: “Better to be safe for Henri’s sake.”
