That was the dilemma facing bride-to-be Julie on an episode of Say Yes To The Dress – which you can stream for free on 9Now.
Julie was searching for the perfect wedding reception dress, with the help of her family and bridesmaids, including one who will look very familiar.
Kristin Chenoweth is a Hollywood and Broadway star, known for originating the role of Glinda in the musical Wicked.
Julie works as Kristin’s assistant but also considers her a best friend and big sister – so having her tick of approval on her dress was important to her.
The problem?
”Let me just talk about her taste – plain!” Kristin said, joking to “wake [her] when it’s over”.
While Kristin was all about a bit of “bling”, Julie’s taste was more classic. Even so, she was determined to pull off the impossible and find a dress they both liked.
Bridal consultant Debbie could tell just how chaotic things were about to get.
“It’s mayhem here. Kristen is really taking over,” Debbie said.

Things didn’t get off to a great start and Julie’s entourage were not at all fans of her first pick.
“It looks like a big diaper,” Kristin reacted.
Julie’s appointment got more and more wild as Kristin wandered around the shop trying on tiaras and picking out dresses.
She even tried a dress on first in an attempt to convince Julie to also give it a go.

“I’m not surprised that she tried a dress on. I wouldn’t expect anything less,” Julie reacted.
Kristin’s ploy to get the bride into a sparkly gown worked, as Julie decided she wanted to see it on herself.
But once in it, she realised it was a “Kristin dress” rather than a “Julie dress”.

The search continued, with Julie trying on another soft pink ruffled dress.
And in the end, her decision surprised absolutely everyone – even herself.
