1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton only just announced her engagement to partner of five months Brian Scott Lovvorn but the pair already have “baby” news to share.
“It’s Amy and Brian and baby, our baby,” Amy began before holding up a newly-adopted pet snake.
“This is the only baby y’all are gonna have,” she clarified.
In a video to fans, Amy revealed some of the details of her recent engagement to Brian.

“[Brian] originally proposed with a Ring Pop and jokingly we were having fun with friends so I didn’t really think it was real or anything but then he actually proposed in a haunted house so we’re getting married on Halloween,” Amy said.
“We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together and have y’all watch our journey in becoming a flourishing family.”
Despite getting engaged in October 2024, Amy and Brian’s engagement was only revealed in one of the latest episodes of 1000-Lb Sisters which aired in May 2025 on TLC.
Brian got down on one knee at Henderson Haunts in Kentucky where Amy’s sisters Tammy and Amanda were also present.

Instead of a traditional diamond, Brian popped the question by gifting his new fiancée a silver ring decorated with two skeleton hands forming a heart.
While sister Tammy was hesitant about the quick engagement, Amy was already planning what she said will be a “small, quaint” wedding.
Unsurprisingly, Amy wants a Halloween wedding so they’ve already locked in a wedding date of October 31, 2025.

Amy and Brian met in 2024 at a concert at the park. Although Amy didn’t feel an initial spark, he convinced her to go on a date with him and they’ve been in love ever since.
Amy and Brian have faced their fair share of challenges in their short time together including an arrest and her own family’s concerns they were moving “too fast”.
But Amy didn’t see things the same way with the 37-year-old telling cameras, “We’re moving so fast but it just makes sense.”
Amy said she knew Brian was her soulmate when he met her sons Gage, 4, and Glenn, whom she shares with her ex-husband Michael Halterman.
