Poker Face is making a grand return, and this time with a Wicked twist.
Natasha Lyonne’s character Charlie Cale is back for more murder-mystery mayhem in Season 2, and this time she’s joined by award-winning actress Cynthia Erivo.
Stream Season 1 of Poker Face only on Stan.
Poker Face follows Cale, the human lie detector with a knack for stumbling upon and solving crimes wherever she goes.
She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.
The Stan Original Series, created by Knives Out director Rian Johnson, will also star comedian John Mulaney and Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes.

Erivo, whose role as Elphaba in Wicked has been all anyone can talk about in recent months, will star in multiple roles in the show playing a set of sextuplets (yes, that’s indeed six siblings all born at once).
The actress has been defying gravity since the release of Wicked Part One in late 2024.

Erivo has a Golden Globe, a SAG Award, two BAFTAs and three Academy Award nominations – including one for her work in Wicked.
If the 38-year-old picks up an Oscar next week, she’ll become the youngest performer to earn elite EGOT status, having already won a Grammy, Emmy and a Tony.
Additionally at next week’s Oscars she’ll with Ariana Grande for a special performance.
The season also features an impressive guest cast, including Alia Shawkat (Search Party, Arrested Development), Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets, The Tattooist of Auschwitz), Justin Theroux (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) and many more.
“I look over the cast names, and it’s dizzying to me,” the show’s creator Johnson told USA TODAY in a recent interview. “There’s a bunch of new things we introduce this season, but empathy is still at the heart of it.”
Returning to the director’s chair, Lyonne will once again take on behind-the-scenes duties, continuing to shape the series’ signature blend of humour and intrigue.
