Miley Cyrus Got Infected Rolling Around Walk Of Fame For Music Video

Although on paper, the Hollywood Walk of Fame sounds glamorous, Miley Cyrus found out that the reality is pretty gross.

After filming a music video rolling around on the famed sidewalk for her upcoming track ‘Walk of Fame’, the 3x Grammy winner revealed she “caught something” and was hospitalized over Thanksgiving.

“I filmed this video in October, and by November at Thanksgiving, I was put in the ICU for a moment,” she revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “Just for a moment, but it was mostly because it was Thanksgiving, there was a lot of people in the ER, people choking on turkey legs or whatever. And my leg began to disintegrate within some way around the kneecap area.”

Cyrus continued, “And the doctor goes, ‘Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?’ And I just saw myself [rolling around the Walk of Fame]. And I had to tell them. Just to have a surgeon look at you and say ‘yuck’—they open up cadavers, they see inside the guts of humans, and they’re looking at me, telling me I’m disgusting.”

Accompanying her ninth studio album of the same name, Cyrus is debuting her new film Something Beautiful in June at Tribeca Film Festival.

Written and directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, the one-of-a-kind pop opera features 13 original new songs from the Something Beautiful album. Cyrus, Panos Cosmatos, Nick Spicer, Nate Bolotin and Aram Tertzakian are producers.
