EXCLUSIVE: Director Drew Denny (Wander Women) has set six to star in her ensemble comedy, Love & Chaos. The list includes Bebe Wood (Mean Girls), Christine Taylor (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story), Lux Pascal (Narcos), Anna Akana (Jupiter’s Legacy), Rio Mangini (Wolf Pack) and Warren Egypt Franklin (American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez).

In the indie written by Frederick W. Grimm, an unlikely “cast” of college-aged improv actors hired to star in a reality TV show are abandoned in Europe when their shady production company goes bankrupt, forcing them to learn how to improvise together, both on-stage and off. Complete with hijinks, a heist, and heartfelt moments, the group must find their own way across the continent to an international Improv festival, finding themselves along the way.

Grimm, Stacey Parks and Barbara Rosenstein are producing, in association with Triad Filmworks, Media Sparks Entertainment, Svelte Dog Productions and Kitchen Sink Productions. Paige Henderson and Nicole Murray are co-producing, with production underway in Montreal.

Best known for roles in 2024’s Mean Girls, the Love, Victor TV series, The Real O’Neals and Accused, Wood is repped by Gersh, Framework Entertainment and Meyer & Downs.

Recently seen in High Desert, Search Party and Sweethearts, with pickleball comedy The Dink upcoming, Taylor is repped by UTA and Strand Entertainment.

Pascal is a Chilean actress best known for roles in the Netflix show Narcos (alongside her brother Pedro Pascal), Juana Brava, Vidas Recicladas, La Jauria and The Prince. She will next be seen starring in Miss Carbón which is being theatrically released in Spain by Carmel Films. She is repped by Paradigm, Untitled Entertainment and IMC Management.

Akana is known for roles in Jupiter’s Legacy, Let It Snow, Ant Man and A Million Little Things and recently wrapped a worldwide tour of her one woman show It Gets Darker. She is repped by CAA, Principal Entertainment and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.

Mangini has been seen in the series Wolf Pack, Teen Wolf, Everything Sucks! and Home Before Dark.  He recently wrapped the Catherine Hardwicke film Street Smart and is repped by LBI Entertainment, Pallas Management Group and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.

Franklin has been seen in Diarra from Detroit, American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez, and Grown-ish, and is repped by Buchwald and Lakey Wolff & Company.

Previously directing the indie drama The Most Fun I’ve Ever Had with My Pants On and comedy Wander Women, among other projects, Denny is repped by UTA.
