“My scarf got caught in an aeroplane propeller and I was almost killed,” Robbins began.
Host Andy Lee and panellists Sophie Monk, Ross Noble and Guy Williams were shocked by the revelation.
Footage played of the near-catastrophic moment. You can watch it for yourself in the video above.
In the footage, Steve Vizard crosses live to Robbins in a microlight aeroplane.
The pair banter back and forth before Vizard notices that Robbins’ scarf has gotten caught in the propeller.
Shortly after, it’s brought to the attention of Robbins and the aircraft operators as they make an emergency landing.
“Uh, we’re just gonna make a landing,” Robbins interrupts the segment.

Thankfully, Robbins made it safely back to the ground but upon reflection he realised things could have gone very differently.
When Lee questioned why Robbins was so calm while everything was unfolding mid-air, he candidly responded: “I didn’t know what was happening.”
“It’s true, it was slowly going off my neck but had it caught the other end, it would’ve snapped my neck.”
Robbins, 67, is loved by generations of Aussies namely for his memorable roles in Kath and Kim and Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures.
His fame was put to the test when Andy Lee asked 100 Australians Zooming in from across the country if they recognised the man sat in front of them.
Robbins made a hopeful guess and predicted that 95 percent of the audience would know who he was.

Turns out Robbins’ guess was pretty close with the comedian making The Hundred history and becoming one of most-recognised special guest to appear on the show.
“That’s one of the highest percentages we’ve ever had,” Sophie Monk gawked from the panel.
