Identical twins Yvette and Linda share more than just DNA. They dress the same, share the same profession and have even dated the same guy.
Well, almost.
In the search for the country’s most alike set of twins in a captivating new series, Australia’s Most Identical, the Perth sisters joined host Karl Stefanovic on TODAY.
And there was one question he cheekily asked: “Have you ever dated the same bloke?”

Australia’s Most Identical premieres Tuesday, June 24, at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
“Well, only once but we didn’t actually…” Yvette replied.
“Linda went out with a guy and then I moved into a house somewhere and he knocked on my door,” she explained.

“I hadn’t seen him in ages and he goes, ‘Do you wanna go out?’ and I’m like, oh you’re creepy,” she laughed.
While Karl couldn’t stop laughing, turns out, it was a secret encounter Yvette hid from Linda for 10 years.
“I only just found this out recently, she just told me,” Linda jumped in. “You didn’t tell me then?!”

“It was only 10 years ago,” Yvette brushed it off.
As far as twin premonition goes, Yvette recalled “one really specific example” where she instinctively knew something was wrong.

“We were probably about 19, I think, and Linda had driven to her boyfriend’s place,” she retold.
“Anyway I woke up, the phone rang and I knew something had happened. Linda had rolled dad’s car.”
It extends to everyday life too!
Yvette explained that usually when she’s having a bad day at work, she’d ring up Linda and find out she’d be also having a bad day.
