Shanghai International Film Festival Golden Goblet Award Winners


The Shanghai International Film Festival Golden Goblet Awards have been announced as the fest wraps up its 27th edition.

On Saturday, Kyrgyzstan director Aktan Arym Kubat’s Black Yellow Road was awarded Best Feature Film during the awards ceremony at the Shanghai Grand Theatre, where 49 entries competed across five major categories.

With the Jury Grand Prix being split between Japanese entry On Summer Sand and China’s Wild Nights, Tamed Beasts, the host country’s Cao Baoping won Best Director for his comedy One Wacky Summer.

Screenings for the film festival come to a close on Sunday.
