Scrublands Season 2 2025 on Stan: Luke Arnold and Bella Heathcote return for a new season on Chris Hammer’s crime novel


Luke Arnold is reprising his role as investigative journalist Martin Scarsden in a gripping new chapter of Stan’s Original Series Scrublands. 

After the first season was a success in 2024, the second installment Scrublands: Silver will premiere on April 17, with every episode dropping at once, exclusively on Stan.

This time Martin (Luke Arnold) will try to uncover the truth behind a crime that shatters his own world as his childhood friend, Jasper, is found brutally murdered and his partner Mandy Bond (played by Bella Heathcote) becomes the prime suspect.

Based on Chris Hammer’s best-selling novel Silver, the second instalment of the Scrublands trilogy, this season is set to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

What is Scrublands: Silver Season 2 about?

Season 2 was filmed on the stunning coastal town of Augusta, Western Australia, promises even more suspense, secrets, and small-town intrigue.

Set a year after the dramatic events of Scrublands, investigative journalist Martin Scarsden (Arnold) is ready for a fresh start in his hometown of Port Silver alongside partner Mandy Bond (Heathcote). But their plans are shattered when Martin’s childhood friend, Jasper, is found brutally murdered—and Mandy becomes the prime suspect.

Who are the creators of Scrublands: Silver Season 2?

Scrublands: Silver is an Easy Tiger production, co-commissioned by Stan and the 9Network, in association with Third Act Stories. The series is produced by Ian Collie, Rob Gibson, Martha Coleman, and Felicity Packard, with direction from Ben Young and writing by Felicity Packard, Fiona Kelly, and Jock Serong.
