EXCLUSIVE: Chloe came into the Love Triangle experience hopeful she would find a connection. She found three.

In a shock twist, her two suitors decided to pursue each other leaving Bernie, who had his own love triangle, to swoop in. Chloe followed her heart and chose Bernie in the end.

Just as their secret relationship was exposed, Chloe revealed Bernie had decided to end things the night before the explosive Reunion.

“Things were going really, really well… but last night Bernie told me that he didn’t want to continue pursing me,” she said.

Speaking to 9Entertainment, the 25-year-old revealed exactly what happened.

After the Final Decision, Bernie took Chloe away to the Blue Mountains.

“I’m so grateful for those few weeks that we shared together off camera,” she began. “We went to the Blue Mountains, he met some of my family, it was amazing.”

“Then there was a very sudden shift in the relationship and it’s something I don’t want to go into detail about because I don’t want to make anyone look bad.

“But there were certain things that came to light that I didn’t know at the Reunion, that were contributing to the reason he ended things with me,” Chloe explained.

Chloe wished Bernie could have been honest about such things.

”At the end of the day he’s just following his heart and doing what feels right for him.”

The reality star revealed the last she heard from Bernie was at the Reunion.

”We wrapped up filming, Bernie and I stayed back and had a chat,” she explained. “He identified that maybe he was self-sabotaging a little bit.”

Chloe revealed they both went home that night, she messaged Bernie the next morning to make sure he was OK but he respectfully asked for space.

“That was the last I heard from him.”

Chloe said she does hope they can “rekindle some sort of a friendship” after everything they’ve been though. But they currently do not have any relationship.

She is however still in touch with former suitor Beck as the two have become good friends.

“It’s purely platonic though,” she clarified.

“Emma, unfortunately I’ve also not heard from. I did try to reach out to her at one point just to clear the air a month or two after filming but I didn’t receive a response.”

Both Beck and Emma were left in tears after Chloe’s secret relationship with Bernie was exposed: 

“Emma’s reaction was absolutely heartbreaking, it brought me to tears. I could not stop crying because I felt so awful,” admitted Chloe.

“But I followed my heart and honestly that’s all I could have done,” she reflected.

But it wasn’t all bad news for Emma as Chloe revealed: “From what I heard, she’s happy and she’s in a relationship. So I’m ecstatic for her.”

As for Chloe? 

“I’m fine, if it were meant to be [with Bernie] it would have been. I just feel really excited right now that my person is still out there and I’m still on that journey to find them,” she smiled.
