If you recall, the last Triangle Party didn’t go so well for our former MAFS groom Mike Gunner, 50.

Hold your texts! The below contains spoilers for Episode 6 of Love Triangle Season 3.

His initial suitor Melinda stormed out after calling him a “washed up reality TV star”. So when Mike entered with his new suitor Melissa, things were bound to implode.

As the group got the bottom of the drama, Mike’s “unacceptable” reaction left the room stunned.

“This is Chloe, Chloe’s irritating,” said Mike as he threw a dig at 25-year-old Chloe across the table.

“Hold on, she’s not irritating,” interrupted Ari, making the face we were all thinking.

What the f–k was that? That’s rude,” Ari doubled down. “Wait I take that back, your attitude has not changed.”

Ari wasn’t the only one disgusted by Mike’s cheap “dig”. After witnessing a side of Mike she didn’t like, his suitor Melissa called Mike aside.

“She intentionally set out to make me appear s–t,” said Mike in his defence.

“And that’s irritating?” Melissa replied.

“Oh yeah, it’s totally unacceptable,” said Mike. “Honestly that was on the mild scale of things I could have said to her. I wanted to go harder, I promise you.

“But I’m glad I didn’t, I definitely toned it down.” YIKES.

Melissa pushed Mike further so he could learn from his behaviour – and suddenly we feel like we’re back on the couch with MAFS expert John Aiken.

“There’s nothing to be learnt here, surely Mel,” argued Mike and we can FEEL the eye roll through the screen.

Mel’s heard everything she’s needed to hear. But, just minutes before the final Triangle Party, Mike had a change of heart.

“I’m not a very good person,” admits Mike in a heartfelt piece-to-camera. “I’m not a good person because this stuff doesn’t happen to good people.”

“This happens to me all the time, I make so many mistakes and I don’t learn from them,” Mike went on. “I hurt people and I hurt her…”

COULD IT BE? Could this be the lesson Melissa was hoping for all this time?!

At the Triangle Party, Mike hoped to make things right with Chloe and Melissa.

“It was very rude and I’m genuinely very sorry,” he said.

We love to see it! Mike moves up in the world (and Chloe’s good books). But that doesn’t mean the drama has halted.

Next week, our singles and suitors have massive choice to make. Will they continue the experience in the outside world, and if so, who with?!
