EXCLUSIVE: Selling Sunset and Traitors star Chrishell Stause knows a thing or two about unexpected love stories.
After taking the reality TV world by storm, Stause found her “soulmate” in Australian musician G Flip – but that didn’t come until her early forties.
Returning to screens, Stause, 43, hoped to share some hard truths about modern dating as the first Reunion host for Stan’s sizzling new dating series Love Triangle.

“I’m very open about the fact that I didn’t see G coming,” the Emmy-nominated actress told 9Entertainment.
“And if I had been filling out an app of what to swipe through, I would have never met my soulmate.”

Helping others find that deeper connection, in a ‘swipe left’/ ‘swipe right’ culture, is the premise of Stause’s new role in Love Triangle, as the series returns Sunday April 6.
So what did that deeper connection look like for Stause? Letting go of any “preconceived notions” she admitted.

“I love the idea and concept of talking to the person and building a deeper connection as opposed to these preconceived notions of ‘I can’t date anyone that’s not this height or that isn’t this hair colour’ – things like that that are so superficial,” Stause said.
Reflecting on her relationship with G Flip, Stause admits she’s the “perfect person to speak on this”.
“We should be open… think about how sad you will be if you lost out on your soulmate because they weren’t six foot!” she smiled.
Stause and G Flip first met at a Halloween party in 2021 after being introduced by singer Tones and I.
The pair secretly eloped in Vegas in May 2022 before having a wedding with all of their loved ones in Australia in 2024.
Following her starring role in global real estate series Selling Sunset, Stause knows first-hand about drama that happens both on and off camera in an unscripted TV show.

Hosting the first ever reunion special for Love Triangle, Stause will sit down with this season’s triangles to unpack the most memorable moments across the eight-part series.
“It’s good for me to sit in the host seat for once, normally I’m in the hot seat,” she smiled.
“It’s always nice when you get to call out F-boys on the spot,” she laughed while promising what will be “the juiciest season by far”.
In the Stan Original Series, five brave singles must choose from two potential suitors, sight unseen. At first, they can only communicate with via text and calls.

Once they date their first pick, they move in together and build on the connection they’ve formed… until their second choice comes knocking.
“I’m always rooting for love,” said Stause.
But as the season promises plenty of “crazy drama” on the way to finding love, the host hopes viewers can learn some lessons on what not to look for in a relationship too.
