After celebrating her 500 lbs (226kgs) weight loss milestone, Tammy recently opened up about the insecurities she faced on her journey.
Speaking candidly in an Instagram video, the 38-year-old admitted she didn’t have many friends for a long time.
“My friends were my family, watching my show helped me realise I wasn’t good to them, I wasn’t a nice person,” she reflected.
Tammy said talking openly about her problems was the only way she could get past her “insecurities”.
“A big part of growth is realising where you can make changes, and I’m so glad I’m in that phase of my life,” she later added.
“It’s not always easy, but recognising areas for improvement is the first step toward becoming the best version of yourself.
“Here’s to self-reflection, growth, and embracing the journey ahead! 🌟.”
Tammy acknowledged she’s come so far on her journey and made it clear “there’s no turning back”.
“Every step forward, no matter how small, is progress,” she posted a day later.
“I’m stronger, healthier, and more determined than ever to keep pushing toward my goals. 💪 Remember, setbacks don’t define us—they fuel us to keep going.”
