Amy recently announced that after five months of dating Brian proposed at a haunted house.
To keep the Halloween theme running they plan to marry on October 31 2025 also at a Haunted House but it seemed not everybody was keen on the idea.
Tammy couldn’t understand Amy’s decision to marry so quickly nor did she approve of the Halloween-themed wedding plans.
“How is that romantic, why do you want to make a mockery of y’all,” Tammy scolded.

Amy explained that it was simply something the couple wanted to do but said she wouldn’t force Tammy to be a part of her life.
“If you don’t want to be in my life you don’t have to be,” she said sombrely.
It seemed Tammy’s feelings were about more than just the wedding location.
During a tense argument Amy asked: “So nobody wants me with him [Brian]?”
Tammy assured her sister that wasn’t the case.
“We want with you him, we just want you to take your time and get to know him more,” Tammy explained.

With her family still refusing to attend the wedding, Amy struggled to see her sister’s perspective.
“None of y’all are coming to the wedding so why does it even matter?” Amy cried.
“It’s for me so nobody else is coming that’s what it is, that’s what it amounts you.
“My family hates me that’s what it amounts to. I’m done, I’m gone I’m going home,” she said storming out of the room.
Amy and Brian met in 2024 at a park concert. Although Amy didn’t feel an initial spark, he convinced her to go on a date with him and they’ve been in love ever since.
Amy and Brian have faced their fair share of challenges in their short time together including an arrest and her own family’s concerns they were moving “too fast”.
But Amy didn’t see things the same way with the 37-year-old telling cameras, “We’re moving so fast but it just makes sense.”
Amy said she knew Brian was her soulmate when he met her sons Gage, 4, and Glenn, whom she shares with her ex-husband Michael Halterman.
This is not the first time family have gotten in the way of Amy’s wedding plans.
During her first marriage to Michael Halterman the pair initially got married at the courthouse but chose to later have a celebratory ceremony with friends and family in 2020.
On the morning of the big day Amy got a call from her mum who said she would not be attending.
“I’m a little upset because mum ain’t coming,” Amy told her sister Tammy at the time.
“So mum called and said that she couldn’t make it. She said that she wasn’t feeling good – which I understand, but sometimes I feel like she makes stuff up because she just doesn’t want to go.
“She went to all the other kids’ weddings but not mine. This is the second time she missed it.”
